First person sci-fi shooter
My role
My career started here where I first did my internship and continued with employment. I was responsible for script and gameplay in a handful number of maps in the game and assisted on others. Taking the maps to shippable state together with core members. During this time tight small, tight, teams were created where I was assigned "pod-lead" by the group. My role was to manage the group and bring us together for the common goal of improving our maps and keeping them aligned with the rest of the game. The group consisted of a scripter, me, an representative from the audio department, QA department, animator, texture artist and a level/environment artist. To be fair, the persons included in the team were kickass to begin with which made my managing roles very fun.

About
Syndicate is a first-person shooter video game developed by previous Starbreeze Studios (now Starbreeze Studios AB), released on February 21, 2012 for PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 platforms. It is a reboot of the Syndicate series developed by Bullfrog Productions, changing the genre from a tactical shooter to a first-person shooter.
In the game, the player can carry two weapons and grenades. Due to the player character's DART 6 bio-chip, the player can see the digital world, slowing down time, and even see the enemies through walls via their connection to the "Dartspace" data network. The player can hack into enemies through this data network, called "breaching", where players can force three options on the enemy; "Suicide" where the enemy kills themselves and damages nearby foes, "Persuade" where the enemy temporarily becomes the player's ally, or "Backfire" where the enemy's weapon blows up, stunning them. It included a four-player co-operative mode with a separate campaign based on missions from the original game.
M16 Human Resources. I scripted the map from start until finish. Hud scripted with flashes and tearing along with the event and nightmare that follows. Broken Dart hud. The camera you breach and how you're being able to switch view while watching the event.
This map would best represent how much I was involved in events during this project as it was the most event compressed one through the game.
